Maristella’s Fine Foods Continues to Expand its Product Line Into Whole Food Markets, Kings and Market Basket
Maristella’s New Innovated Seafood Arancini’s to be sold in 250 New Retail Locations
Boston, MA – April 12, 2012 – Maristella’s Fine Foods announced today they have reached agreements with several regions of Whole Food Markets, Market Basket and Kings to sell their Authentic Sicilian, All Natural Arborio Rice Seafood Arancini’s. The Arancini line, inspired by an old family recipe, is made with authentic Italian Arborio Rice harvested from the Po Valley in Northern Italy. This traditional Sicilian treat is made with a three cheese blend of Pecorino Romano, Parmesan and Mozzarella, peas, all natural herbs and the finest of seafood. The new line will be sold in over 250 new retail locations throughout the United States.

During the 2011 International Boston Seafood Show, Maristella’s Fine Foods’ Arancini’s were recognized as one of eight finalists for best new retail product. Over 100 new products were entered into the new product showcase during the show.
The line is available in the five exciting seafood varieties:
  • Wild Caught Blue Crab with Gorgonzola Cheese and Applewood Smoked Bacon Arancini’s are made with 100% wild caught Blue Crab, Arborio Rice a three cheese blend of Pecorino Romano, Parmesan and Mozzarella, Peas, all natural herbs and uncured Nitrate and Nitrite free Bacon.
  • Wild Alaskan Smoked Salmon with White Wine and Capers Arancini’s are made with wild caught Alaskan Smoked Salmon, Arborio Rice a three cheese blend of Pecorino Romano, Parmesan and Mozzarella, Peas, all natural herbs.
  • Wild Caught Scallops with Applewood Smoked Bacon Arancini’s are made with wild caught Scallops, Arborio Rice a three cheese blend of Pecorino Romano, Parmesan and Mozzarella, Peas, all natural herbs and Nitrite free Bacon.
  • Wild Caught North Atlantic Lobster with Sherry Cream Sauce Arancini’s are made with wild caught North Atlantic Lobster, Arborio Rice a three cheese blend of Pecorino Romano, Parmesan and Mozzarella, Peas, all natural herbs.
  • Wild Caught Shrimp with All Natural Pesto Arancini’s are made with North Atlantic or North Pacific wild caught Shrimp, Arborio Rice a three cheese blend of Pecorino Romano, Parmesan and Mozzarella, Peas, all natural herbs.
Maristella’s Fine Foods also produces a full line of frozen All Natural Classic Seafood Pot Pies that come in the following flavors; Wild Caught Atlantic Haddock with Sherry & Nutmeg, Wild Caught Shrimp Gumbo with Andouille & Madeira Wine, Wild Caught North Atlantic Lobster Bisque with Saffron Creamed Corn & Marsala Wine and Wild Caught Alaskan Salmon with Horseradish & Chipotle.
